RETURN POLICY & INSTRUCTIONS  UPDATED 10/15/22

SOMETHING WRONG?

Upon receipt, please inspect your order immediately. 

  • If you believe you have received DEFECTIVE merchandise, you must contact us within 3 days at info@mudcreekmercantile.com so we may address the issue... some items go fast so we want to be able to get you a replacement ASAP if there's an issue!
  • We cannot make exceptions once you have had the merchandise in your care for a longer period, have removed the tags, washed it or worn it. 
  • We inspect every single item that comes through our warehouse to try to avoid such issues wherever possible.
  • In order to keep our prices low, we cannot offer free return shipping. The cost of shipping your order back will be deducted from your credit or refund. 

RETURNS:

  • Any items ending in .99 are Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. No exceptions.
  • The term "Final Sale" means an item cannot be returned or exchanged. 
  • We photograph each item and do our very best to display accurate colors, measurements, and patterns. Items with slight variances will not be considered defective, as each item may be a bit unique in pattern placement or colors. We are happy to provide you with more photos prior to purchase. Just send us a message so we know exactly what your would like to see. 
  • All returns must be received within 30 days of the original purchase date.
  • Returns on items other than boots will be credited with an electronic store credit (Gift Card) for the original purchase price, in order to offer free shipping and discounted return labels we do not offer refunds on everything but we understand that those boots need to be perfect. Gift Cards expire 5 Years after issue date pursuant to federal law. 
  • Unworn, unwashed, unaltered items may be returned as long as the original tags are attached and returned during the 30 day time
  • Unworn boots can be returned for a 10% restocking fee. These must be sent back to us with original box and packing materials. Please use another box or the enclosed poly bag to ship your boots back. Do not place any tape or markings on the original boot box. If the original box is damaged we will have to charge a restocking fee of 25%. 
  • If any items are returned appearing worn, with makeup, deodorant or animal hair on them, smelling of cigarette smoke or fragrances, damaged, tags not attached, received beyond 30 days from the order date or that are Final Sale, they will not be accepted. We will contact you to pay to ship them back to you or we will donate them to charity after 30 days. 
  • Seasonal Gift Purchases: Orders placed after November 15th - Extended Return Date: Returns must be received by January 10th.  

SHIPPING BACK YOUR ORDER:

  • We don’t require a Return Authorization, just affix the included return label to the outside of the package and send it back.
  • We are not responsible for any returns that may be lost or damaged in transit. 
  • All returns will be processed within 3-7 business days after receipt. You will receive an email confirmation with your store credit once processed.
